On 11 March 2013 the Namibia Business and Investment Climate Survey (namBIC) 2013 has been launched. The survey captures the perceptions of business people, both formal and informal, across the country about the prevailing business and investment climate and the constraints and challenges they encounter. The results and recommendations provide a basis for further discussions and public/private sector dialogue.
This year’s survey is the fourth consecutive annual survey since the namBIC was launched in 2009 by the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), the Namibian Manufacturing Association (NMA), the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) and the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) working on behalf of the German Government. Overall, 663 businesspeople responded to the survey which is a substantial improvement on the previous surveys. Enterprises from all 13 regions and industries were covered.
The results and recommendations are available for download below.
